Silly stuff

I've thrown a whole lot of stuff on here to look at. Its pretty random, but I thought it was worth seeing.

Kate's new rebellious look.

Charlie can be so serious.

But most of the time he's super silly.

We made the kids their first box house. Riley helped with the decor. Thanks, Riley!

Kate likes the saxophone like her Daddy.

Everytime Dad gets home from work, the kids run, garble some baby language, and point at his sax. They love to hear him play.

Don't ask why Daddy has a wig...
But Kate sure liked wearing it. She hilariously ran around the house like a weird little pageant doll...

Somebody fell asleep during dinner.

Yes, we let them loose in our hotel room.

Charlie sleeps peacefully, without a head.

Birthdays, Haircuts and Finger Paints, Oh My!

I found some more pictures from the kids' birthday, so I'm adding them now. We went out to eat with them on their actual birthday. They loved it! After that, we decided to have ice cream for the first time. Kate learned to drink from a straw! I suppose Daddy's favorite cheesecake shake convinced her it was worthwhile.

Charlie's 1!

We enjoyed the shopping cart outside for a little while to work out the sugar high...

The kids needed haircuts so we finally broke down and got them their first haircuts on March 20th. They were a little skeptical about the whole ordeal, but they warmed up with the introduction of some (short lived) suckers!

Before: Very bad bedhead, but cute.

No wonder she has a runny nose. Yes, that is a toy they supplied. We're working on our immunities.

Mommy decided it was time to try some creative activities, so she pulled out the finger paints.
Luckily they're non-toxic.
Charlie seems to be more of a printmaker. He enjoyed dipping his hands in the paint and presssing a mark onto the paper, and then throwing the paper onto the floor to dry with the others. He worked quickly and methodically. Kate, on the other hand, worked more like a painter. She really experimented with color and worked the paint on the canvas.
